Breathe

At first, I was sceptical, but Rebecca assured me of its benefits. “There’s something incredibly soothing about the rhythmic movement of fish. It’s almost meditative. I have a small aquarium in my living room, and whenever I feel overwhelmed, I just sit and watch the fish. It’s a beautiful reminder to go with the flow.”
Exercise
Exercise is another key component of Rebecca’s routine. “Physical activity is a fantastic way to quiet the mind,” she explained. “When I’m running or doing yoga, I focus entirely on my body’s movements, and that leaves little room for stressful thoughts.” Rebecca highlighted that even a simple walk can work wonders. “Getting your blood pumping releases endorphins, which naturally boost your mood and help you feel more relaxed.”
Listen to Music
Music, according to Rebecca, is a powerful tool for achieving inner peace. “I have different playlists for different moods. When I need to calm down, I listen to soft, instrumental music. Rebecca introduced me to the concept of progressive muscle relaxation. “It’s a technique where you tense and then slowly release different muscle groups in your body,” she explained. “It’s a great way to release physical tension and signal to your mind that it’s time to relax.” She suggested starting from the toes and working your way up to the head, taking a few minutes to focus on each muscle group.
Hang Out With a Dog
Finally, Rebecca shared her most heartwarming strategy: spending time with her dog, Max. “There’s nothing quite like the unconditional love of a pet,” she said, her eyes lighting up. “Max has a way of making me forget all my worries.
